MY LOGO
my logo, a scratched up pair of glasses, is the most "me" thing possible. anyone who knows me knows i always wear my glasses. they're a part of my face at this point. so much so that i forget i'm wearing them. due to this, my glasses have seen the floor of many-a-mosh-pit. i'm too stubborn (and maybe too attached to the memory of each scratch and break) to get them fixed.
my font is my handwriting. every single letter was hand-written by me! i do this because i want my site to be as true to myself as possible. i am a writer. writing about my passions and telling the stories of those without a voice. my writing is the most crucial part of my identity. it's also so interesting to me how each person has a different handwriting. this is mine; kinda messy, but it's me.

MY COLORS
all of the colors on my site, the colors that define me, came from a photo of me standing in front of a graffitied wall outside of one of my favorite local venues, The Smell. i've been slammed against the wall, thrown onto the floor, smacked against the stage, punched in the face, and i loved every second of it. The Smell helped fuel my love for the music scene, and inspired my lifelong goal of opening my own venue in los angeles.
